There are four private hot-springs tubs for splashing around in as well as a handful of
1930s cabins with kitchenette ($89 to $125) and newer motel rooms ($79), in case you
want to spend the night.

has two simple, but clean men's and women's bathhouses (entry $7), where tribal elders,
snowbird RVers and curious tourists soak together, plus a private pool for $25 for up to six
people.

Just outside Tecopa, this family-run, organic date farm is a lush oasis in the middle of the
blistering desert. You can go hiking or bird-watching and, of course, stock up on luscious
dates or try their yummy date nut bread. To get here, follow the Old Spanish Trail Hwy
east of Tecopa Hot Springs Rd, turn right on Furnace Creek Rd and look for the signs.
