dresses and hand-tailored new clothing at fair prices. It's in a funky block of specialty
stores for art and antiques (plus a cool coffee bar).

Joshua Tree National Park is flanked by I-10 in the south and by Hwy 62 (Twentynine
Palms Hwy) in the north. Entry permits ($15 per vehicle) are valid for seven days and

There are no facilities inside the park other than restrooms, so gas up and bring drinking
water and whatever food you need. Potable water is available at the Oasis of Mara, the
Black Rock and Cottonwood campgrounds, the West Entrance and the Indian Cove ranger
station.
Cell phones don't work in the park, but there's an emergency-only telephone at the In-
tersection Rock parking lot near the Hidden Valley Campground. Shops around the inter-
section of Twentynine Palms Hwy and Park Blvd offer internet access.
Pets must be kept on leash and are prohibited on trails.
