Getting Around
While most people get around by car, municipal buses and trolleys run by the Metropolit-
an Transit System (MTS; 619-557-4555; www.sdmts.com ) can get you most places. The
Transit Store dispenses route maps and tickets. Transfers are not available, so purchase a
day pass if you're going to be taking more than two rides in a day; one-/two-/three-/four-
day passes ($5/9/12/15). A refillable Compass Card ($2 one-time purchase) will save
hassles.

Bus 992 (the Flyer, $2.25) operates at 10- to 15-minute intervals between the airport and

run from about $13 per person to downtown, more to other destinations.
