downtown, exit Fairview Ave north.
Shopping
Downtown's State St is packed with shops of all kinds, and even chain stores conform to
the red-roofed architectural style. Cheapskates stick to lower State St, while trust-fund ba-
bies should head uptown. For more local art galleries and indie shops, dive into the Funk
Zone , south of Hwy 101, spreading east of State St.

Surf-n-Wear's Beach House CLOTHING
