Cedar Grove
Cedar Grove's Sentinel campground, next to the village area, is open whenever Hwy 180
is open; Sheep Creek , Canyon View (tent only) and Moraine are opened as overflow
when needed. These campgrounds are usually the last to fill up on busy summer weekends
and are also good bets early and late in the season thanks to their comparatively low eleva-
tion (4600ft). All have flush toilets and $18 sites. Other facilities in the village don't start
operating until mid-May.

The only indoor sleeping option in the canyon, the riverside lodge offers 21 unexciting
motel-style rooms, some with air-con. An in-progress remodel promises to dispel some of
the frumpy decorations. Three ground-floor rooms with shady furnished patios have spiffy
river views and kitchenettes. All rooms have phones and TVs.
