The formal ambience (mind your manners) may not be for everybody, but few would not
be awed by the sumptuous decor, soaring beamed ceiling and palatial chandeliers. The
menu is constantly in flux, but most dishes have perfect pitch and are beautifully presen-
ted. There's a dress code at dinner, but otherwise shorts and sneakers are OK.
Sunday brunch (adult/child $45/5; 7am to 3pm) is amazing. Reservations highly recom-
mended for brunch and dinner.

No one will mistake Yosemite for nightlife central, but there are some nice spots to relax
with a Cabernet, cocktail or cold beer. Outside the park, the Yosemite Bug Rustic Moun-
