Four miles off Hwy 120, this reservable United States Forest Service (USFS) campground
has 35 forested sites adjacent to the Tuolumne River. Arriving from the west, it's the last
campground before the Big Oak Flat entrance, and a good fallback if you can't get a camp-
site inside the park.

Outside the park near the entrance to Hetch Hetchy, this classic 90-year-old resort lets
roughing-it guests cheat with comfy, prefurnished tents and rustic to deluxe mountain cab-
ins with private porches but no phone or TV. Outdoor recreational activities abound, many
of them family-oriented, with equipment rentals available.
There's a general store, tavern with a pool table and a fantastic restaurant serving three
hearty meals every day.
