Housekeeping Camp
CABINS
This cluster of 266 cabins, each walled in by concrete on three sides and lidded by a can-
vas roof, is crammed and noisy, but the setting along the Merced River has its merits. Each
unit can sleep up to six and has electricity, light, a table and chairs, and a covered patio
with picnic tables.
Curry Village

Founded in 1899 as a summer camp, Curry has hundreds of units squished tightly together
beneath towering evergreens. The canvas cabins are basically glorified tents, so for more
