In most cases, the same pin should never be used on two different capes, though in some
cases, pins can be shared. Here are some exceptions:
GND
The ground (
GND
) pins should be shared between the capes, and there's no need to
worry about consumed resources on those pins.
VDD_3V3
The 3.3 V power supply (
VDD_3V3
) pins can be shared by all capes to supply
power, but the total combined consumption of all the capes should be less than 500
mA (250 mA per
VDD_3V3
pin).
