Deploying a Process to Active Endpoints Server
Problem
You want to deploy a process to your Active Endpoints Server.
Solution
Doing this entails a few simple steps that may not be absolutely intuitive:
1. Create the orchestration project and populate your BPEL as necessary.
2. When you are ready to deploy your project, right-click on the project name in the designer
and choose Export.... Then go to Orchestration→Business Process Archive File.
3. Point to the folder you want to export the .bprfile to. I usually choose the deployfolder
under the orchestration project.
4. Under the Type selector, choose Web Service. This will point to your Active Endpoints
Server installation. Replace the pre-populated value with
http://localhost:8080/
active-bpel/services/hello
and type a username and password as applicable.
5. Make sure your Active Endpoints Server is up and running, and click Finish in the wizard
to install your archive.
