Like ODE, the ActiveVOS server includes an embedded Apache Derby database that it uses
to keep track of runtime variables within executing processes. It also includes deployed tutori-
al processes, URN mapping for endpoint reference resolution, and Identity Service data.
Once your installation is complete, user you browser to navigate to
ht-
tp://localhost:8080/BpelAdmin/
. This is the address of the web-based administration
console you can use to work with ActiveVOS. You should see a screen similar to the one
shown in
Figure 9-15
.

You can see from a quick look at the console that your BPEL server is running. During
development, you may want to set the logging level to Full on the Configuration page.
The web console with links to Configuration and other items is accessible from
