Internet Access
Free Wi-Fi
You can access free public wi-fi in select government premises, tourist hot spots and public
areas daily from 8am to 1am the following day. See www.wifi.gov.mo for details.
Most cafes and hotels in Macau have free wi-fi.
Paid Wi-Fi
You can buy prepaid phonecards from CTM, ranging from MOP$50 to MOP$130, to enjoy
mobile broadband; or buy a mobile broadband pass for unlimited internet access for either
one day (MOP$120) or five days (MOP$220).
Left Luggage
There are electronic lockers on both the arrivals and departures levels of the Macau ferry ter-
minal. They cost MOP$20 or MOP$25 (depending on the size of your luggage) for the first
two hours, and MOP$25/30 for each additional 12-hour period.
There is also a left-luggage counter on the departures level of Macau International Airport
that's open 24 hours. It charges MOP$10 hourly and MOP$80 daily.
Legal Matters
The legal age for gambling in Macau is 18 for tourists.
Possession of any kind of illicit drugs can lead to imprisonment.

The helpful and informative Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) distributes the excel-
lent (and free) Macau Tourist Map, with major tourist sights and streets labelled in English,
Portuguese and Chinese, small insert maps of Taipa and Coloane, and bus routes marked.
Medical Services
Macau's two hospitals both have 24-hour emergency services.
