CAFE
KUÍ GARDEN
10am-midnight; Line 1, Dōng-
shānkŏu, exit F)
From its location inside the gorgeous Kuí Garden in the historic Dōngshān area, this cafe
serves decent coffee and canapes during the day and morphs into a bar at night. Stylish,
warm-toned seating areas occupy the rooms of the original residence. Built in 1922, the
house is famous for its Western architectural features that include colonnaded verandahs and
a portico.
There's a small exhibition space on the ground floor and a light-flooded shop on the top
floor that is breathtaking to look at but doesn't sell much. Both the gallery and the shop
close at 10pm.

Conservatory (Xīnghǎi Yīnyuè Xuéyuàn Hòumén) and make sure they haven't taken you to
Xīnghǎi Concert Hall on Èrshā Island!
