Macau Tower.

The biggest sporting event of the year is the Macau Formula 3 Grand Prix, held in the third
week of November. The 6.2km Guia circuit starts near the Grand Lisboa Casino and follows
the shoreline along Avenida da Amizade, going around the reservoir and back through the
city.
HIKING
GUIA HILL HIKING CIRCUIT
There are two trails on Guia Hill in central Macau Peninsula that are good for a stroll or jog.
The
Walk of 33 Curves
(1.7km) circles the hill; inside this loop is the shorter
Fitness Cir-
cuit Walk
, with 20 exercise stations. You can access these by the Guia cable car.
The Islands: Taipa & Coloane
Explore
Jump on a bus to Coloane village and take an easy two-hour stroll around, soaking up the
ambience and making stops at the Chapel of St Francis Xavier and Tam Kong Temple. Then
take a bus to the Cotai Strip to the mega casino resorts where you can play the tables or
catch a free show. Then it's on to Taipa. Wander through Taipa village to Avenida da Praia
and spend an hour inside the Taipa Houses-Museum. Rua da Cunha is the place to go for a
nice Macanese meal after you've checked out Taipa's assortment of Chinese temples.
