You'll find the lion's share of Macau's museums, churches, gardens and interesting architec-
ture on the peninsula. In 2005 Unesco recognised this wealth by adding the Historic Centre
of Macau, comprising eight squares and 22 historic buildings, to its World Heritage list. At
many of the heritage sites, seniors over 60 and children under 11 are admitted free - just
ask. The Macau Museums Pass (MOP$25) allows entry to a half-dozen museums over a
five-day period.
