contain the old, including a family-run dai pai dong(food stall) on St Francis St, and
the new, in the form of quaint boutiques and restaurants. On 31 Wing Fung St is a six-

EATING
Admiralty has a few exceptional restaurants. Wan Chai, with its wealth of
cuisines in all price ranges, is Hong Kong's food capital; while Causeway Bay
is an eclectic amalgam of eateries, many upscale, many Japanese. Down-at-
heel North Point is home to a number of old Chinese restaurants and dai pai
dong (food stalls).

For our money, this trendy new spot has the best burgers in town. Juicy Tasmanian beef is
cooked any way you like, and topped with bacon jam, green chilli, pickled onions and other
goodies. Sweet-potato fries are killer, and boozy spiked milkshakes add to the fun. Book
ahead during peak times. Enter through the elevator in the pizza restaurant downstairs.
