'SECRET' PUBLIC GARDEN
If you want a change of air during your pub crawl, come to the amphitheatre at the
end of Wo On Lane in Lan Kwai Fong. An open secret of sorts, it's the hang out of
young expats who buy smokes and drinks from convenience stores nearby and come
to play charades or shoot the breeze. You can do the same - you might might even be
able to meet some beautiful strangers. The official name is Lok Hing Lane Park (

Tucked away towards the end of Kennedy Town, this neighbourhood bar by the Praya com-
mands views of the sunset and the harbour. The decor is simple, the vibe unpretentious, and,
at the time of writing, there was live music on Sunday from 5pm to 8.30pm.

A cosy Tibetan-themed bar on a quiet street with a post-industrial feel, Dharma Den is dec-
orated with multicoloured ribbons, sorcerer's masks, and Buddhist sutras. Besides standard
alcoholic beverages, it offers shisha and a Nepalese snack du jour.
