This friendly bar with a bohemian vibe is named after a protest march on 1 July 2003. It's a
favourite haunt of local artists and activists who come for the beer and music jamming ses-
sions. In the garden out front, revolutionaries plotted to overthrow the Qing dynasty a hun-
dred years ago. Enter from the alley next to 69 Hollywood.

A cosy Japanese cocktail bar run by the impeccably mannered Ayako, who kneels to speak
to customers at eye level when taking orders. Her cocktails are fresh-tasting and inventive -
'Italian Bloody Mary' features real tomatoes and a drop of truffle oil. Ayako also does cus-
tom cocktails. Why not let her shake you up a nice surprise?
The entrance to the building's lift lobby is in an alley just off Wellington. Turn right when
you see the large Evisu sign.

One of the best places in town for microbrews on tap - there are 24 from all over the world!
Roundhouse is small and brightly lit. If you want more atmosphere, pick your brew from the
iPad menu and savour it on the steps just outside the bar.

Besides an impressive list of 150 imported beers, including 13 on tap, the Globe serves T8,
the first cask-conditioned ale brewed in Hong Kong. Occupying an enviable 370 sq metres,
the bar has a huge dining area with long wooden tables and comfortable banquettes.

FEATHER BOA
At the end of Staunton St in Soho, you'll see a shop with velvet drapes drawn over the door,
and no signage. Feather Boa is a dimly lit, bordello-like chamber, with candles, gold-plated
mirrors and faux-antique furniture. Its strawberry-chocolate daiquiris are popular with the
predominantly European clientele. Bring ID.
