The trip includes three full-day rides and two
shorter half-day rides to give you some free
time to relax by the pool on the estate or visit
Florence (25km from the estate). This being
one of the most famous wine-growing regions
in Italy, there is an emphasis on tasting some
of the local wine throughout the week, and the
penultimate day includes a late afternoon ride
through the Colognole Chianti vineyards, with
the option to stop off for a wine-tasting tour at
the fifteenth-century Villa Colognole, owned by
Staletti, one of the most famous wine-growing
families in Italy. Be prepared for a tipsy trot
home.
