Yoga classes take place in the ambient “yoga
temple” and are held daily in the mornings and
some evenings, attracting experts and novices
alike. Chanting and meditation is also on offer, as
well as some philosophy, art and music classes.
If you're curious, it's easy enough to seek out
the legendary Goan parties on Vagator and
Anjuna beaches. But if you're looking to clear
your head in Goa rather than shake it on the
dance floor, this is the place to come.

While much of the enlightenment on offer in Goa
is distinctly ersatz, Yogamagic is the real deal.
Set a couple of kilometres back from celebrated
Vagator beach, the solar-powered resort is made
up of several airy desert tents - complete with
cool thatched roofs and earthen walls draped
with colourful saris - and two luxurious suites
set in the main house. Food is a highlight - a
world away from the identikit menus found in
many of the state's beach shacks; guests will
find surprising twists on Indian classics, such
as avocado raita and cherry tomato sambal , and
most of the ingredients are grown in the fields
that surround the tents and pool.
