Behind you is thick forest, shielding the
seven luxury huts of Nkwichi Lodge, each
designed from local wood and stone so as to be
harmonious with their surroundings. All are
solar-powered and more luxurious than your
average jungle hut, with four-poster beds and
private outdoor showers hidden among the trees.
This is pristine wilderness - so remote that
the last 10km to the lodge has to be travelled by
