The Mary Ward Centre is celebrated for its adult education courses - from archae-
ology to ukulele, Pilates to poetry, there are many ways to enlighten and energise
yourself here. After your class, make your way to the ground-floor vegetarian café in
this Grade II-listed Georgian building in pretty Queen Square. The spicy cauliflower
soup is nice and thick and, like everything else behind the counter, the portions
