Wheelchair access is via a ramp which is situated on the right side of the terrace
Built as a pavilion for Queen Anne in 1704, these graceful rooms have been trans-
formed into a sunlit café overlooking Kensington Palace's immaculately kept gar-
dens. This is a very civilised place to sit on the outdoor terrace on sunny days under-
neath a white parasol. The lunch menu suggests free range egg-and-cress sand-
wiches, leek-and-potato soup and fish stew, while the famous Orangery afternoon
