This large farmers' market has a mixture of stalls - from those selling hot pasta
and paella to tables piled high with orchard plums, delicate oyster mushrooms and
bottles of freshly pressed apple juice. The fruit and vegetable stalls sell seasonal
produce, so unlike the predictable supermarkets the food sold here will be surprising
and different every time you visit. Bring a large basket if you are easily seduced by
plump tomatoes, ruby beetroots, stiff white leeks and loaves from Aston's Bakery.
