The pub is not wheelchair accessible
Although loud music is played in the main bar, at the right of the entrance there
is a much quieter small room where you can meet friends away from the clamour.
The pub has recently been renovated but retains many of its nineteenth-century fea-
tures, such as tiled floors and beaded fire surrounds. Beers rotate frequently and
might include Hophead, Dark Star and a few others from independent breweries.
The food here is excellent, from tomato and pesto soup to homemade ice cream.
