Now you can modify the patch script. First of all, update the new patch version in the script, for
example:
define VERSION=1.0.0.3
Next , increase the version number in the APEX application (installed in the development
environment). One of our basic principles dictates that everything needs some sort of versioning
information. For that purpose, we will write the version information into the APEX application into two
locations, as Figure 9-15 shows.
