6. Approve the
Baseline Configuration Plan
document by the process owners.

Revise Project IMG
: The IMG is modified to record the information about resources and
assignments. This can be done either manually in IMG or automatically in case the com-
pany is using the ASAP IMG-Link.
13.2.3.5.1 Configure Initial Settings and Organizational Structure
This task refers to the configuration of the global settings and organizational structure that is a
prerequisite to the Baseline and Final configuration:
1. Configure Global Settings.
2. Configure Organizational Structure.
3. Configure Predefined Settings.
13.2.3.5.2 Configure and Validate Baseline
This is the heart of the Realization Phase that corresponds to changing the configuration settings for
the Baseline scenarios and processes. The completed settings are migrated to the QA environment
for testing using the test plans and test cases prepared earlier. The information gathered during this
task also helps in revising the Baseline Configuration document as well as the Business Blueprint:
1. Configure Process and Functions.
2. Transport to Quality Assurance System.
3. Test Baseline.
4. Document and Resolve Issues.
5. Revise the Business Blueprint.
6. Verify Completeness of the Baseline Configuration.
