13.2.1.2 Project Standards and Procedures
The objective of this task is to lay the ground rules that would be adapted for the project work.
A uniform method of working, recording, and reporting permits consistency, avoids redundant
effort, and also helps in clear communication.
The SAP project needs to establish two kinds of standards: those applicable directly to the
project work and the other dealing with communication with various concerned parties on the
status and progress of the project.

tion, testing, authorizations, enhancements, and productive operations:

13.2.1.2.3 Define System Landscape Strategy
The system landscape strategy involves defining the system that will be part of the installation
including their purpose and identification. It should deal with the setup and maintenance of the
systems and clients both during implementation and post-implementation period. The strategy
should also define the release and transport strategy for the distribution of the customizations and
development across the landscape to the desired system.
