Street Wharf, which serves as the entrance for the Steamboat Natchez, the
last authentic steamboat on the Mississippi. The Natchez offers a variety of
jazz and dining cruises.
• The Moon Walk leads to Woldenberg Riverfront Park, named for philan-
thropist Malcolm Woldenberg. The 16-acre park features a jogging path
along with artwork and sculptures, including a stunning Holocaust Memori-
al Exhibit. The park is a backdrop for the French Quarter Festival, the New
Orleans Oyster Festival, and the Zulu Lundi Gras Festival, among other big-
time events. It is part of the Audubon Nature Institute, which also operates
the Aquarium of the Americas (see sidebar) and the Entergy IMAX Theatre,
both of which are adjacent to the park. Exit the park via Bienville Street.
• Turn right on North Peters Street and walk two blocks to Toulouse Street.
North Peters becomes Decatur Street. Walk four blocks down Decatur back
to your starting point.
