walk a block back up Tennessee. At North Derbigny, turn left and return to
the starting point.
Not included on this tour but just a few blocks away on Deslonde Street, the
Lower Ninth Ward Living Museum features oral histories from community
members, displays exhibits of key events in the history of the Lower Ninth
Ward, and presents cultural events. It's best to drive here, though.

ROUTE SUMMARY
1. Begin walk at North Derbigny and Deslonde Streets.
2. Walk three blocks to 1925 Deslonde and turn around.
3. Walk one block on Deslonde to North Prieur Street and turn left.
4. Walk one block to Tennessee Street and turn left.
5. Walk to 1905 Tennessee and turn around.
6. Walk three blocks to North Claiborne Avenue and cross to neutral ground.
7. Backtrack across North Claiborne and walk one block back up Tennessee to North Derbigny Street.
8. Turn left on North Derbigny to return to the starting point.
