Bear left on Elysian Fields and walk four blocks north to Dauphine. During
this stretch you'll pass American Aquatic Gardens & Gifts, which sells rare
water lilies and other plants, and Michalopoulos Studio, the home of celeb-
rated New Orleans artist James Michalopoulos (open to the public
Thursday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m).

Cross on Elysian Fields at Dauphine and return to the starting point at
Washington Square.
