Modeling the Character
In the previous chapter,  you learned about Blender's interface
and modes, and you created your first basic block character. Now you will more deeply
explore the process of creating humanoid characters by modeling a zombie in Blender.
In this series of tutorials, you will learn to model the body and head with two differ-
ent techniques: box and poly-by-poly modeling. You will also learn to model features
efficiently to maintain a low polygon count. Finally, you will learn how to add nonsym-
metrical details such as damage to your zombie that will be enhanced in later chapters.
This chapter covers the following topics:
Working with model sheets
Shaping the torso for low polygon count
Extruding the legs and feet
Making the arms and hands
Separating body components to create clothing
Creating the head with poly-by-poly modeling
Carving out zombie damage
