Blender Basics for
Game Characters
The previous chapter dealt with game art and design issues com-
mon across the field. In this chapter, you will begin to get your hands dirty in Blender
itself. Whether or not you are proficient in other 3D programs, Blender has a unique
way of working that is daunting to many new users. However, any novice can become a
Blender hero with a little practice. This chapter will lead you to proficiency by showing
you Blender's useful tools, its navigational components, and what they do. The chapter
