Unity's Scene view
Also at the top of the Scene view you'll find the color mode pull-down (which says
RGB by default) and the lighting and scene buttons, which allow you to view your level as
it will appear in-game. The gizmos button allows you to toggle gizmos that show the loca-
tion of cameras, lights, and other objects on and of.
While still in the Scene view, click and drag the middle mouse button (MMB) or left
mouse button (LMB) to pan across the scene. Panning is the default action available when
you open Unity and its hotkey is Q. Now press Alt+LMB to orbit around the view in the
Scene view. Pressing Alt+RMB allows you to zoom in and out of the view. Zooming is
also possible by using the middle mouse wheel. If you want to focus on any particular
item, press F with an object selected in the Hierarchy view and Unity will zoom directly
to that object. This function is known as framing the selected object.
