Daybreak, South Jordan, Utah
Daybreak is a model community plan applying innovative and sustain-
able design principles. Design Workshop worked as an integral consultant
team member from master planning through design and construction.
Design Workshop developed design guidelines for the project, which cre-
ates a mixed-use walkable community with a full range of services and
amenities. The place types include various scales of civic, commercial,
residential, and recreational uses. The guidelines address rights-of-way,
setbacks, architecture, streetscapes, landscaping, and parking. All project
phases will meet the requirements for LEED certification.
