The specimen should be placed on highly clean carriers. Plexiglas carriers
can be applied without cleaning. These cheap carriers are used only once. All
the other more expensive carriers are used frequently for cost savings. They
must to be cleaned even before their first use because they are not delivered in
sufficiently clean condition.
