Note that there are items for the variables, the decisions, and the role for the dataset. The default
role is “Raw”. It can be changed to “Score” when using additional data to predict patient outcomes.
The Variables option gives a list of the variables in the dataset as well as the properties of the variables
(Figure 8).
In this example, there are a number of variables defined as rejected, meaning that the default is not to
use them in an analysis. The outcome, or Target variables is “Died” (mortality). Currently, it is defined
