Château de Chatonnière
The grounds feature romantic paths through 12 exquisitely tended gardens of various
themes. Surrounded by fields of wildflowers (my favorite part), it's a must-visit for
gardeners and flower fanatics from May to early July, when the place positively explodes
in fragrance and color. At other times, when flowers are few, the entry fee is not worth it
for most.
