Getting There: ThereisnopublictransporttoChaumont,althoughthetrainbetween
Blois and Amboise (8/day) can drop you (and your bike, if you like) in Onzain, a
25-minuteroadsidewalkacrosstherivertothechâteau.Bikes(Chaumontisabout11level
milesfromAmboiseorBlois),taxis(reasonablefromBloistrainstation),andshuttlebuses
also work for nondrivers (see “Blois Connections,” here ) .
