is a good place to experience Omaha Beach. This average-
looking hotel has surprisingly comfortable rooms and sits alone, overlooking the beach
in Vierville-sur-Mer, between the American Cemetery and Pointe du Hoc. The halls have
pebble walls, and all rooms have views, but the best face the sea: Ask for
côté mer.
Don't
expect an effusive greeting. Introverted owner Madame Clémençon will leave you alone
