Chambres d'Hôtes
The TI has a long list of Honfleur's many chambres d'hôtes (rooms in private homes), but
most are too far from the town center. The three listed here are good values.

$$ La Cour Ste. Catherine, kitty-corner to Le Fond de la Cour, is an enchanting
bed-and-breakfast run by the open-hearted Madame Giaglis (“call me Liliane”) and her
big-hearted husband, Monsieur Liliane. Her six big, modern rooms—each with firm beds
and a separate sitting area—surround a perfectly Norman courtyard with a small ter-
race, fine plantings, and a cozy lounge area ideal for cool evenings. The rooms are as

Eating in Honleur
Eat seafood or cream sauces here. It's a tough choice between the irresistible waterfront
tables of the many look-alike places lining the harbor and the eateries with more solid
reputations elsewhere in town. Trust my dinner suggestions and consider your hotelier's
opinion. It's best to call ahead to reserve at most restaurants in Honfleur (particularly on
weekends).
Le Bouilland Normand hides a block off the port on a pleasing square and offers a
true Norman experience at reasonable prices. Claire and Bruno provide quality Normand
cuisine and enjoy helping travelers. Daily specials complement the classic offerings
(€19.50-28 menus, closed Wed, dine inside or out, on Rue de la Ville, tel. 02 31 89 02 41,
www.aubouillonnormand.fr ).
