Getting Around Reims
By Bus or Tram: Reims has an integrated network of buses and trams ( www.citura.fr ,
French only). Purchase tickets from the bus driver or at ticket machines at any tram stop
(€1.60/1 hour, €2.50/2 hours, €3.70/24 hours, instructions in English, pay with cash, coins
only). Your ticket is valid for unlimited transfers, even a round-trip on the same line. Each
time you board a bus or tram, hold your ticket on the validation machine until you hear a
beep.
The tram system's two lines—#A and #B—connect Reims' two train stations and

station to the cathedral, main TI, and town center, take a tram to the Opéra stop.
A few bus routes are particularly useful for reaching the less central Champagne cel-
lars (listed later in this chapter). These small Citadine buses run along two loop routes (#1
and #2). Key stops are shown on the map on here (€1.60, 3/hour Mon-Sat, none on Sun,
don't confuse Citadine buses with regular bus #1). Regular fixed-route buses also cover
the city center; the most useful ones are listed under each sight.
