Sleeping and Eating in Taizé:
Those on retreat fill their days with worship services;
workshops; simple, relaxed meals; and hanging out in an international festival of people
searching for meaning in their lives. Visitors are welcome for free. The cost for a real
stay is about €20-35 per day (based on a sliding scale; those under 18 stay for less) for
monastic-style room and board. Adults (over age 30) are accommodated in a more com-
