▲▲▲ The Castle Ruins (The “Dead City”)
The sun-bleached ruins of the “dead city” of Les Baux are carved into, out of, and on top
of a rock 650 feet above the valley floor. Many of the ancient walls of this striking castle
still stand as a testament to the proud past of this once-feisty village.

Easter-June and Sept 9:00-19:00, July-Aug 9:00-20:00, March and Oct 9:30-18:30, Nov-
Feb 10:00-17:00. If you're inside the castle when the entry closes, you can stay as long as
you like (free Wi-Fi throughout the site).
