Accommodations and Camping
If you're camping, grab a campsite as early in the day as possible. If you're staying in an
accommodation, you'll find them all within Waterton town site and within walking dis-
tance of everywhere. Upon arrival in town, if it's too early to check in, spend some time
exploring the downtown core and lakefront on foot.
HOTELS, MOTELS, AND LODGES
Waterton has a limited number of accommodations. Most start opening in May and by mid-
October are closed, with only the hostel, Crandell Mountain Lodge, and Waterton Glacier
Suites open year-round. All accommodations are within the town site, so walking to the
marina and shops isn't a problem.
Finding a room on short notice shouldn't be too difficult in May, June, and September,
but for July and August call as early as possible.
