Books and Bookstores
Housed in Jasper's historic Royal Canadian Mounted Police detachment building and a
2012 extension, Jasper Municipal Library (500 Robson St., 780/852-3652, 10am-8pm
Mon.-Thurs., 10am-5pm Fri.-Sat.) holds just about everything ever written about the park.
Head to the Friends of Jasper National Park store (780/852-4767) in the park inform-
ation center or the museum for a good selection of books on the park's natural and human
history. A larger selection of literature, including lots of western Canadiana, can be found
at Jasper Camera and Gift (412 Connaught Dr., 780/852-3165, 9am-9pm daily in sum-
mer, shorter hours the rest of the year).
