Numa Falls is along the Vermilion River.
After passing McLeod Meadows Campground and a riverside picnic area inhabited by
a healthy population of chirpy Columbian ground squirrels, Highway 93 climbs to a pul-
lout that affords panoramic views of the entire valley and across to the Mitchell and Ver-
milion ranges.
