Log in to Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control.

Expand
Farm_[Domain_Name]

WebLogic Domain
, right-click on your
SOA domain and click on
System MBean Browser
.

MBean located under
Application
Defined MBeans

Operations
tab.

cloneMetadataPartiton
operation.

In the parameter list enter suitable values to clone an existing partition from
an existing source repository to a target one.

Ensure that the partition name is unique for a particular repository. If the
toPartition
property is left blank, the name of the source partition is used for
the target partition.

Click on
Invoke
to clone a partition, as shown in the following screenshot:

Optionally, you can verify that the partition has been created by clicking the
repository in the navigation pane. The partition is listed in the
Partitions
table on the
Metadata Repository
home page.
It is often difficult to navigate through the MDS Runtime MBeans available from
Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control particularly if the same
configurations need to be duplicated across multiple environments. To main-
tain consistency, an easy and reusable option is to invoke the WLST command
line and enter the metadata partition cloning command provided to clone the
