Monitoring data sources
For data source monitoring, as long as the connection pool configuration is valid
(that is, there are no connectivity issues to the database) and the number of act-
ive connections do not approach or exceed the maximum configured connec-
tions, then that is usually all that is needed.
To check the JDBC DataSource Runtime Statistics:

Log in to the Oracle WebLogic Administrator Console.
