The following screenshot shows the results of a search through the managed
server log files for a particular ECID. Rows relevant to this ECID are displayed,
and in this case we see that several notifications showing how a JMSAdapter
was invoked and how a Mediator service was executed. This information may
still not be enough, in which case the logger levels will have to be increased (we
will discuss this shortly).
Unfortunately, searching log files through the console is slow and cumbersome,
and we recommend accessing the log files themselves directly on the filesystem
instead.
Another important mechanism available to monitor and troubleshoot information
from log files is by enabling
Selective Tracing
in Oracle Enterprise Manager
Fusion Middleware Control. This can be configured by expanding
Weblogic Do-
main
